Knowledge Transfer

Knowledge Transfer is "the process through which one unit (e.g., group, department, or division) is affected by the experience of another" Argote & Ingram (2000).

With this in mind and considering the Forum’s aim to “share practice, liaise with and inform relevant groups where appropriate”, this section of the website is dedicated to bringing you up-to-date information to help you in your role.

A process for this to happen is as follows:

We will strive to work with you to identify critical issues and information you need, motivate the holders of this knowledge to share it appropriately, consider the best methods for sharing it, share it and look to ensure maximum impact.

It is vital that you, the members, fully engage in the knowledge transfer element of the Forum’s work to share practice, offer solutions and continue to deliver the outstanding interventions for which the North West are known for.
