Membership ServicesThe Forum is a self sustaining body operated through the collection of annual membership fees. Membership is available to individuals within the public & private sectors, voluntary & community groups and students. Corporate membership is also available and includes discounted membership for 3 individuals from the same organisation joining at the same time. Full Membership of the Forum can offer: · Free Annual Conference* · Bi monthly Electronic Newsletter with short email mini updates in between · Workshop and Networking Events* · Links to Regional and National bodies such as – GONW (Government Office North West), NWPAA (North West Physical Activity Alliance), DH NW (Department of Health), NHS NW, County Sports Partnerships, BHF National Centre for Physical Activity & Health, Sport England, DCMS (Department of Culture, Media and Sport), and many more… There are 4 levels of membership available: 1. subscription rate (mini updates and e-newsletter only - to attend the annual conferences and events you must pay a top up fee) 2. full individual corporate membership 3. full membership for full time students, voluntary community groups and registered charities (excluding public bodies) 4. full group corporate membership (3 representatives from the same organisation joining at the same time) The membership fees for 2009/2010 are: · Subscription Rate £30 · Full Membership for Voluntary Organisations/Full Time Students/Registered Charity: £70 · Full Individual Membership: £110 · Full Corporate Membership: £275 Annual membership of the NWHPAF runs from April to March. To become a new member or renew your current membership you must complete and return the membership application form available to download at the bottom of this page. We currently have over 200 members of the Forum from organisations including Sport England, Arts Council England, Local Authorities, Primary Care Trusts, universities, private companies, not for profit organisations, social enterprises and registered charities. Members of the NWHPAF are predominantly from the North West of England, working in Greater Manchester, Merseyside, Lancashire, Cheshire and Cumbria, we do however have some national members who inform & benefit from the events and information sharing undertaken by the Forum. Further information is also available within the Benefits of Membership document, also found as a download link at the bottom of the page. Membership will ensure you are part of the only North West regional network for those working in health related physical activity. You will receive up to date information and relevant communications via regular emails (mini updates and e-newsletters) and website updates. If you take out Full Membership this entitles you to access FREE NWHPAF workshops during the year as well as attending the NWHPAF Annual conference FREE of charge*. Please see the NWHPAF Diary Dates for details of forthcoming events. * Please note - members must register for the annual conference and other events by completing and returning the relevant event registration form as places are offered on a first come-first served basis. There may be a small cost to attend events run in conjunction with other partners. |
